3 THINGS TO EXPECT AT THE 2017 AFRICA FASHION WEEK NIGERIA + OUR PREDICTION

The Africa Fashion Week Nigeria known for celebrating the beauty and rich culture of African designs is just 3 days away. This (2017) edition holding at the iconic National Theatre, Lagos will feature over 50 Designers and Exhibitors from various parts of Nigeria and Africa.

As we gear up for this special event, here are three (3) things you should expect to see at the 2017 Africa Fashion Week Nigeria.

    1. THE BOI (BANK OF INDUSTRY STAND)

The Bank of Industry will be at the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria on the 3rd and 4th of June 2017 holding at the iconic National Arts Theater to discuss easy ways of accessing their fashion fund and how designers can access a working capital for their brands.

The Fund is a N1.0 billion fund  to support for the fashion value chain, including but not limited to garments, women’s shoes, handbags and jewelry/accessories in the first instance to be expanded in future.

    2. RED CARPET HOSTS

Eccentric TV personality "Denrele" will be joined by 53 Extra presenter and face of Africa Fashion week Nigeria "Amira Ibrahim Alfa" as the hosts of AFWN 2017.

The duo were the official red carpet hosts at the 2016 edition of AFWN. They will be interviewing key personalities, fashion forward individuals and invited guests on the red carpet at National Arts Theatre.

    3. EXTREME FASHION STATEMENTS

Finally, you should expect to see some sort of style extremism. Fashion enthusiasts will show up and you know they never show up without making statements. So we are definitely going to see some highly stylish people, some slightly stylish people and of course some cringe worthy looks as well.

Since the break in of the romphim trend, a lot of fashion enthusiasts have been looking forward to a romper appropriate gig so trust that the Africa Fashion week Nigeria is a great opportunity for them to satisfy their romphim urge.

Here's our prediction; "We'll find no less than 5 rompers wearing individuals at the 2017 Africa fashion week Nigeria".

AFWN is a platform that is not exclusive to the privileged, but an inclusive platform for all creative talents. No matter who you are, known or unknown, as long as you're creative with your designs, AFWN is the place for you.
